I am a Teaching Assistant Professor at the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research interests lie primarily in scientific and scholarly information spanning areas including research data management/data curation; computational reproducibility and transparency; scientific metadata; as well as information storage and retrieval.

I previously worked as a Research Programmer and Senior Research Programmer for the School of Information Sciences and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, where I have led and contributed to a number of research and infrastructure projects. I received my PhD from the University of Illinois, my MLS from UNC Chapel Hill, and undergraduate degree in Geography from the Univeristy of Colorado at Boulder. Before graduate school I worked as a database and software engineer for companies including ProQuest and Sony Recording Media.
